The pedestrian ferry that plies between Rowhedge and Wivenhoe across the River Colne in Essex, on the first day of the 2012 season - its 20th year of operation in this modern form. It is run by the Wivenhoe Fingringhoe Rowhedge Ferry Community Interest Company (CIC), a non-profit organisation, staffed by volunteers.
